Customer case: Varax
Varax Products Oy combines long industrial experience with Finnish manufacturing and well-known products for the home and garden.
The company has two business areas. Varax Solution provides subcontracting services for the metal industry, while Varax Living develops and manufactures garden furniture and other outdoor products.
The story began in 1939. Furniture production started in the early 1950s with the X-shaped Varax stool. The business has since developed across generations, with an emphasis on durable, environmentally conscious choices.
The products are manufactured in Esse and carry the Key Flag symbol of Finnish work.
A joint packaging project
The goal was to reduce unnecessary plastic and develop made-to-measure packaging that protects the products without excess material. The relationship began at the Subcontracting Trade Fair and continued with a visit to the factory in Esse, where the structures were developed together.
