Printing technology selected for the material, volume and objective
We choose the printing method according to structure, material, artwork, volume, lead time and quality requirements. Prepress and colour management form a natural part of the process, making the outcome consistent and predictable.
Offset printing
Offset is recommended when print quality and finish requirements are high. Orapac normally prints in five colours and can produce work with up to ten colours using CMYK and PMS, together with UV and drip-off coatings. In litho-lamination, artwork is first offset printed on thin carton or a print liner and then laminated to E- or F-flute, combining a smooth premium print surface with the protective properties of corrugated board.
Flexographic printing
BestPak offers flexographic printing in up to three colours. It prints directly onto conventional corrugated board and suits clear, cost-effective marking or simpler graphics with fewer colours.
Digital printing
Digital printing is used mainly in CMYK and is particularly relevant for smaller volumes, POS material and projects where flexibility or short runs matter more than conventional print economics. The choice depends on volume, material and the desired final finish.
Effects and finishing
UV and spot coating
We offer UV coating as well as matt and gloss coating across the full surface or selected details. Finishing can be combined with embossing, foiling and window solutions. The choice is adapted to the material, graphic expression and application.
Foiling
Metallic or pigmented foils create clear accents on logos, text and larger surfaces. Foiling can be combined with embossing for a tactile premium effect.
Embossing
Raised or recessed details create structure that can be seen and felt. The method works particularly well for symbols, patterns and brand elements.
Interior printing
We can print both the outside and inside. Digital printing can be used on both sides of corrugated board, while both sides of carton can be offset printed.
